Born in Athens 1992, Stefania Plakou began expressing her creative talent at an early age mostly by painting and making handcrafts. In order to develop her artistic nature, Stefania chose the department of Graphic Design of a Technical High School, where she completed her high-school studies. Graduating in 2010, she began her studies at the Technical University of Athens, in the department of Graphic Design and Art Studies, where she was able to develop her inner artistic concerns.

 

At the same time with her studies at university, she warmly started creating handmade jewellery using a combination of simple and different materials and often making experiments with different techniques. She created the brand Stefania Plaku Handmade in January of 2012, when also her first exhibition “Unbalanced” took place with huge success at the multiplace «Χοροστάσιο» of Athens. She exhibited there her handmade creations for the first time,  mainly consisted of female jewelery and accessories, such as shoes and purses. After “Unbalanced”, several exhibitions and bazaars had taken place, where she had the opportunity to present her new-made creations.

 

Stefania Plaku Handmade products are characterized by their imperial size, extraordinary materials and a unique combination of designs. These special and extraordinary jewellery and accessories are one of a kind, with unrepeated and unique designs. For that reason they aim to special and extraordinary clients, who wish to wear something innovative and attract the attention. Expressing her multidimensional identity and her intense feelings, Stefania focuses on creating  an imaginary world, a world of escape, where she tries to integrate her clients, too. With these creative and unique handmade creations, Stefania Plaku Handmade wishes to offer intense color and shape contrasts, creating a personal and unique style for everyone.
